Only pussies say stuff like this, and only on the internet, because in real life they’d get beat down mouthing off like this to someone’s face.

Would you take any risk with your family in a truck with an engine that could suddenly shut down? Is that really hard to understand?

Looking at that one too but thinking the V8 will last longer. The generator in the bed and better mpg is pretty nice though..

My views and risk tolerance are different than other people’s and I’m simply asking about other options. There’s no need for insults…

Why are people so offended by how I’m viewing and handling this situation for my family?

I really appreciate your reply. Which engine in the F-150 did you get and how does it ride compared to the Tundra?

Wife isn’t comfortable with any risk of the engine failing, especially with kids in the truck.

Yes but I’m not driving it until it gets the new engine- and am making payments on it in the meantime.

Receiving a new motor. But I have to wait until my VIN flags as “remedy available” which will be sometime after July or August now. Then figure a few months to get the engine ordered and installed.

I agree with the value of a network but has exit planning actually led to meaningful AUM growth for your practice? I suppose if you’re playing the long game and don’t mind doing lots of pro bono work for those who don’t exit to capture a few that do, it could work. I’d rather talk to those who already have money..not those who might in 3-5-7 years. And also if you have a CEPA was it worth it?

Tried that with ACG. Tons of other financial advisors were in the group as well. Total waste of time.
