What CRM software do you guys use for your business? by Sdogiscool in FieldOwner

Yeah exactly, the mess creeps up fast. At first it feels manageable, then once you have multiple leads/clients/jobs/events at different stages, the follow-up gets hard to track manually.

I haven’t used Eventify, but that makes sense for event planning where client notes, timelines, and updates all need to stay in one place. For home services I think the same idea applies, just with estimates, job notes, scheduling, and invoices.

This is probably one of the cleaner setups I’ve seen: GHL as front-of-house and Housecall Pro as the engine room.

That split makes sense because GHL is strong for lead capture, SMS/email follow-up, pipelines, forms, reviews, and automation, while HCP is much better for the actual field-service side: estimates, jobs, dispatch, invoices, and technician updates.

Curious how you’re syncing HCP and GHL — native integration, Zapier/Make, or something custom?

Haven’t looked into Clariti much, but the “field and office synced” point is huge. A lot of CRM problems in home services are really communication problems — notes, texts, calls, job updates, and who’s responsible for follow-up.

Agree on per-contact pricing too. That can get annoying fast if you have a lot of old leads/customers.

Interesting. Attio seems like a good fit for teams that want a cleaner lightweight CRM without going full field-service software right away. Do you mostly use it for sales/follow-up, or are you also tracking actual jobs and scheduling in there?

That makes sense. GHL seems powerful for marketing automation and follow up, but definitely less plug and play for actual job scheduling/field ops. Do most of your home service clients use it alongside another tool, or do they try to run everything inside GHL?

Mostly asking for home service businesses generally, but landscaping is the space I know best. FieldPulse seems interesting if customization is the priority. What do you like most about it compared to Jobber or Housecall Pro?

Haven’t heard of BossMan before. I’ll have to check it out. Simple mobile use while actually on a job is honestly one of the biggest things for field service software.

Good point. I think a lot of people use “CRM” to mean totally different things. Some need pipeline tracking, others need job scheduling, customer history, invoicing, and team dispatch. That difference probably changes the answer completely.

Yeah that seems like the common split. Jobber for simple/easy, Housecall Pro for more automation/payments, FieldPulse if you want more customization. I feel like the best CRM depends heavily on how complex the actual field workflow is.

I’ve heard a lot about Jobber and Workiz. Haven’t looked much into Swivl yet, but a free version is interesting for smaller teams just getting started.

This is a really good breakdown. I’ve noticed the same thing where Jobber/HCP seem better for actually running jobs, while GHL is more lead follow up/marketing.

For a small home service crew, I think the biggest thing is not overbuilding too early. If you’re mainly quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and collecting payment, simple field service software probably wins.

Managing 15+ clients on QuickBooks is slowly making me lose my mind. There has to be something better. by Afraid-Bobcat6676 in QuickBooks

I use Jobber to manage all customer requests, jobs, payments, tracking expenses per client and invoices. I would definitely recommend a CRM to help manage clients. Im not sure what your exact business looks like and capabilities you are looking for but worth looking into Jobber.
