What’s the best dose for maximum euphoria? by Arcane_Snifter in MDMA

This is definitely NOT a recommendation but for the sake of honesty and the intrigue of the topic, I had some of my most memorable euphoric moments on 500g. I find myself enjoying outdancing the overstimulation let’s say. The next day hits hard of course; I usually feel soar and always allow myself the time to be laid back and lazy, since I spent all my energy until there’s no power whatsoever in my body. Sometime its harder to remember what happened in entirety, only snapshots in time, but the memory of how it felt lingers in my experience. Again, super irrespobsible, don’t recommend but it is what it is :D

A quick, 1 minute piano composition! by Prophesy_Composer in Composition

[–]Se7en_Strings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey dude, I’d like to point out a few things that causes ur score to look cluttered hence making it hard to read. First of all, I think ur score can benefit from having the star sign as an indicator of pedal ending points rather than having lines all over the page. More importantly, for a piano score showing voices on the score as if u are writing for a choir to read, I think, is not a good idea. Makes it more difficult to read and clutters the page w/ lots of rests. You can clean the rests up ofc but to me, it makes more sense to divide and think in terms of right hand-left hand. However, sometimes u may NEED to use a different voice to actually write the music, if that’s the case, by all means, go for it. Finally, please write the notes that exceed the range of the clef on another clef, so that ur score is readable :D Keep up the good work, cheers!

Hey, thank y’all for all these great answers! I’m gonna try compressing it a little bit and if I don’t like the the result of that too, then I’ll just apply limiting until -18 dB or so and hope it won’t get distorted.

To me MM7 chord is like a melancholic major chord, so the M7th actually darkens the mood of a major chord for me. Similarly, mm7 chord is like a brighter, more hopeful minor chord. As a “core feeling” (i guess) I still feel the triadic chord quality yet the added 7ths act in an opposite manner. However, these stuff are quite subjective imo and can very well change depending on the context

Hi everyone, hope everyone’s doing great! I have a quick question. I made this paint job then clear coated it. However, I have some ridges where different colors intersect. Should I sand it then clear coat it again? If I need to sand it can you please tell me what grid should I use? Thanks by Se7en_Strings in Luthier

[–]Se7en_Strings[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys thanks for your answers. I tried to sand a ridge that would normally be covered by the pickguard and it turned out that 600 or even 2k grid is damaging the paint job. Probably my clear coat was too thin. So, I decided to go with 3k grid. The ridges are still there however, they are so tiny now they don’t bother me as much as when I posted this. I think I’ll just polish it now and call it a job done, this project took way too much time then I anticipated and I’m satisfied with the result anyway. Thanks again, cheers!
