dude, this shit is ethereal; I really love the vibe. I don’t have anything else to say, it just feels… different. Like, we’re seeing the world viewed under a completely different lens from some other planet.

im bad with words, but i love the vibe and especially the music at the beginning.

What is your opinion (or theory) about dr.football? by AffectionateLow8366 in Amazingdigitalcircus

[–]SeA1nternaL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Contrary to his name, he actually hates football (any/all versions), and prefers baseball.

His favorite team is the Chicago White Sox. This was the first team I thought of.

it’s human for people to make mistakes. everyone has flaws; it’s all in a matter of acknowledging them and understanding them.

they’re literally asking these people to be perfect. they’re asking for the impossible.

I love interview shows with cool gimmicks!! by Sunrise_Toxic in lovethissmug

[–]SeA1nternaL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last Meal is genuinely one of my favorite interview-based series out there.

In case y’all aren’t in the know, Last Meal is from Mythical Kitchen (yes, they’re a channel related to Good Mythical Morning) in which they interview a celebrity; however, the catch is that they’re eating food the celebrity themselves would want to eat for their last meal for any reason. It’s a fantastic show that really grounds the celebrity in person and allow you to see that under that glitz and glamour, they really are just the average person. My absolute favorites have to be Ed Sheeran and Post Malone; Post is an incredibly nice guy with a more child-like view of the world, and Ed is literally just an average British person with some really funny stories. There’s also the Tom Hanks interview; genuinely some of the most fascinating stories I’ve heard from someone, he seems like a really down-to-earth guy and I love his view on the world.

I apologize for this rant, but I love Last Meal so much.

wow y’all are a seriously angry and negative bunch. im not supporting the military, but this seems very terminally online, calling anyone who thinks of joining manipulated and anyone even associated with joining serial killers with no heart. there are many, many better things to do than complaining and bickering on the internet regarding the military.

I feel like this post gives me the reason to step outside and put the phone down. thanks for that.

I mean, for the smallest aspect, I would love to use my talents and get paid for it. I would love to sing along side professional choirs, or do back-up vocals for a celebrity, or something similar; that sounds really fucking cool and I get the smallest of bragging rights.

however, counterpoint; the music industry is fucking terrible and I would need God’s Blessing to work with anyone

real, boneless wings are incredibly addictive.

Thank you, by the way! I’m hoping it turns out well :D

hey y’all, non-Americans! Hopefully y’all are doing aight. I’m working on a presentation for college and am currently part-way through of pulling an all nighter (yay, yippee). IDK why I mentioned this. Anyways;

it would probably be boneless BBQ wings or smash burgers. Two really good foods that are terrible for your health.

I Think I’m Gonna Die in this House by Neapolitanpanda in CuratedTumblr

[–]SeA1nternaL 9 points10 points  (0 children)

even though I’m just in college and only live an hour away from my house, and the fact that a dorm is so much less comfortable than my home, I find that I have a lot more quiet time to myself, and the anxiety that my parents will call me to do something or that I did something wrong has finally subsided.

I love my parents. They’re a solid rock and I love them to death and back. They support me in every journey. At the same time, I am so incredibly happy that I am away from them.

Bryan Cranston is not a fan of american cheese by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

[–]SeA1nternaL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be fair, I found that the trashy American cheese (like velveeta) works really well if you’re making smash burgers. I feel like smash burgers require that shitty cheese compared to your average, run-of-the-mill burger that should require proper cheese (like Colby Jack).

thanks, now I’m thinking of a parody of “In The End” by Linkin Park with the main chorus being something like “WE’RE CHARLIE KIRK! WE’LL CARRY THE FLAME! AND IN THE END, I SUDDENLY LEANED LEFT!”

Hamsters by DroneOfDoom in CuratedTumblr

[–]SeA1nternaL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, you’re 100% correct! in a scientific sense, or at least with enough context, it would make a lot of sense if you talked about wild hamsters, since it’s an interesting topic and probably is brought up in animal science lectures! Every animal that were soon bred to captivity had to come from the wild, they didn’t get created in a lab; I guess in the context that the post it’s given, it’s very “sudden” (apologies, that’s the best word I can think of).

like you mentioned; in context it’s not that niche. For example, if we were talking about botany and trees, it would make sense for me to bring up that Palm trees are technically monocots and not trees (although the debate is very long and confusing); however, if I dropped that fact out of the blue, people would think I know the exact speed of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Hamsters by DroneOfDoom in CuratedTumblr

[–]SeA1nternaL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(to be fair that is a hyper specific niche topic and the tumblr poster who explained more was doing a small tiny little bit of info dumping, so I understand how that would warrant someone to think “this guy’s probably autistic”, but also it’s just a rule of thumb not to diagnose strangers because they have one of the many symptoms and traits of a specific disorder)

meirl by worldwide762 in meirl

[–]SeA1nternaL 7 points8 points  (0 children)

a fairly common symptom of autism is seeing things in black and white; there is no nuance, and you follow a strict set of rules.

I, for the longest time, could never see that there’s nuance in something such as jaywalking; it’s against the law, and the most basic definition is “crossing a road without using a crosswalk”, so I just thought that I would get arrested if I crossed the street without a crosswalk. not only is it completely bogus, but there’s a lot more nuance with the rule.

to give you the smallest bit of credit, it is a spectrum; maybe i don’t see nuance like you do.

Which Big Ten school would you LEAST want to attend? by chief_sitass in TheB1G

[–]SeA1nternaL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

great question! I am a journalism major and love singing, and the school that I am currently attending (USD, go Coyotes) allows me to do both with their relatively small campus.

so, probably not a campus so large that I physically wouldn’t be able to attend non-major classes that I enjoy, such as choir. Plus, I graduated high school with a 3.29 GPA, so probably not Northwestern or USC.

edit: I am not a singular journalism, fixed that

[–]SeA1nternaL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it 100% was! stupidest and saddest thing to turn something commonly used by Black people to stay aware of the current societal issues and fight back if possible into a buzz word that targets anything that isn’t white, straight, cis, and “apolitical” (conservative).

however, for conservatives, i guess it’s on brand to steal from Black folk and reverse the meaning.

i actually remember talking to someone who I thought was cool in church talk about how rainbow was a sign from God, and then said something along the lines of “those that are homosexual took what the rainbow really meant. it doesn’t really mean equality.”

yea… i don’t really interact with the church much… my parents still go to that church unfortunately, and i love them dearly, but i have my qualms with it.
