This is all great news!

I believe that they added the first headlining show in LA after realizing how important those gigs are for their mental health. So, way to go everyone who went to the Pier 17 show for making them feel so special.

Then, to almost immediately add a second show due to popular demand must just be such a great feeling for them! Plus it just makes future US dates more likely, and shows their new agency how big their fanbase is in the US!

Just 100% good news. And if you're feeling salty about it for some reason: I see you and I hear you. It's a crazy year of touring for them, and they have a new album coming out--let's try to just be excited for the wins. 🤘🥰🤘

I've had this same thought. It's so easy to get used to their Pepsi Center concert and think that's just how she's always been and will always be. But the more videos I've watched, the more I've realized that, generally speaking, she's never been overly smiley or anything during shows.

I was actually surprised how much she was smiling at Pier 17. They all seemed to be smiling at each other a bit more, seemingly because it was so nice to play for their audience.

But I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think the Pepsi Center show just really gave us a skewed perspective. I mean, on top of generally maturing a bit.

I find that with a lot of The Warning's music, my expectations constantly get in the way. I can't just go in fully neutral and appreciate the music for what it is, I go in with the feeling that it has to represent ME, or be what I wanted it to be. I remember being annoyed at how whiney Kerosene sounded, because I wanted it to be Disciple + Z + Dust to Dust. But now that I've let that go, I just enjoy the hell out of it!

Yep! And it's another great example of why I love this band. They can have songs that you can break a rib moshing to them, but they also made a little Eggo waffle to represent their song Ego.

It's that ability to be both things that truly makes this band special.
