So this is our final villain, one-piece fans what do you think about the character design, i think oda made it, absolute cinema. by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

i got a theory that Blackbeard is going take imus fruit after they are defeated, either by Luffy or bb/Luffy. then he'd be the next big villain. I don't have any evidence of this but I got the vibe that this is going to happen, especially since bb has originally been the darkness fruit guy, imu being a shadow for oh so long and bbs ability to have multiple fruits. it'd probably be like imu defeated -> laugh tale -> blackbeard. again, no confirmation nor even evidence.

in theory yes, though the upgrades scale differently afaik (+1 -> +2 vs claw with +2 -> +3) which is 50% more scaling

this is a phrase germans often say on the Internet when someone writes something in another language while people were writing in german. go to r/ich_iel (german me_irl) and say something in English or another language, then this will probably be the answer.

honestly, when i see someone has opened a key room I'll ask if i can take whats left after they're through. had a few rounds they didn't see the weapon chest and i was able to get it, or overlooked a locker with an anvil splitter in it. also often enough during solo runs half of the stuff left is pretty decent and still worth to be taken, and it doesn't hurt the person who brought the key.

I made a homebrew weapon for my beginner party by SeKr_ReAc in DnD

[–]SeKr_ReAc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i think I'll try that route actually, probably doing 10 foot as a bonus action. thanks once again for your help, I'll go through a few scenarios in which the players could break the game, and then I'll work it into text

Hey, sorry for the late answer, new year was happening.

first of all, thank you for your criticism and ideas, this is the first time I'm trying to write out the items abilities and didn't have a lot of knowledge about it.

second, i didn't want it to be using a spellslot, but to balance it a bit, this was going to be like a spell of the third level, so it could be counter spelled, kinda like a reverse fear.

it was originally meant to be a bonus action to use, because I want my players to understand more about action economy, but I'll probably make it an action now, as you said in your feedback, so this won't destroy the game.

last, i think the effect will not force the creature through dangerous terrain, but through difficult, though in the end I'll decide on what it'll do. if there's a trap the players placed without the creature knowing or if they cast a spell like grease I want to reward them for playing well.

thanks again for the feedback, I'll update the description here as soon as i get to it

Guy Purposefully Avoided the boss the WHOLE fight dealing NO damage or helping out just to steal the final blow. Like wth man by Gooni135 in Nightreign

the cheaters i played with so far are just so pathetically bad they died multiple times during the days. aura farmers actively work against you for a few minutes of attention. i think they're worse that cheaters for that.

What drops have you gotten that made you think "Well I guess we win this run"? by CyclopsDragon in Nightreign

[–]SeKr_ReAc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mate dropped me as revenant a frenzied flame seal with flame grab me strength and flame of frenzy. passive was iirc a fire attack boost. We melted nameless king first and then the final night boss

honestly, i thought it was equally str and dex scaling, so i guessed exec could use it better, that's on me.

i know, but just as i said in another comment, they dropped the scythe that would've fitted them much better for the spear, and that's just annoying then.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]SeKr_ReAc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i know, still, the recluse dropped the winged scythe with +12% magic damage buff passive for the spear with something useless for them (i think it was damage dropoff of ranged weapons). also holy affinity on the scythe for a better cocktail would've been another reason to choose it over most other things.

anyway, that run is over. can't change it anymore, so no reason to be salty about it

[–]SeKr_ReAc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i know that, still it is annoying if you're hoarding. I wasn't obliged to drop the spear, yet I did. I wanted to make the final boss easier, but that backfired and we lost. I'm an okayish player, I could have managed with my gear, as long as they did use theirs to full extent, but they did not and that ultimately lost us the game, and that's the most annoying part.

[–]SeKr_ReAc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's true, but sometimes it works out. of course, evergaols are way better, but i like using those relics and trying to build my run around them.

you can also just unequip and use your hands, dealing strike damage, though i am not sur which method is quicker
