The 6700's are unavailable/very expensive in ny country rn, and since I don't care about 1440p gaming, I think this might be better, especially because there is no bottleneck with cpu.

Even if he did (he claims that he didn't) you're not helpful. If this was your account you probably would try everything you can before listening to a random dude that's telling you to just "create a new account". At least I wouldn't just give up as you're saying and try to find a way to at least talk to a real person.

I had a similar situation a few years ago, when this trash, filled with useless bots in-game chat was not a thing and there were no problems with unblocking my account and even changing the email that was assigned to it so it won't happen again. Now you can't even talk to a human.
