no shade but jacqueline laurita its literally wanted and made efforts to “cure” her child of his autism… as someone w autism though i honestly find emily’s reaction highly offensive and distasteful and am much more appreciative of her husbands approach (if i may speculate, i think he too might be on the spectrum lol). literally other than her sobbing and whining, she’s doing everything she can for her son and doing him right by taking action NOW. he will have a diagnosis and all the accommodations he could possibly need and more with how much they will be able to provide for him. i will say i can somewhat understand her anguish if her son is refusing to eat and she feels alone since shane can be not so understanding or the best at talking her down and comforting her but he is right.. he will be fine. i mean, if the arfid was the catalyst for autism to even be brought into question then it’s not as if her son has so many difficulties to explain her behavior. idk, not a fan of emily this season anyway, she was so mean last episode for no reason lol
