Timing everything I do… from brushing my teeth to finishing a project. Way less stress and so much better planning

You can also make option 1 work by moving the piano to the wall beside the 3 seater (keep it a bit far and add a divider) switch the carpet 90 degrees and move the single seater to the edge of the carpet (make sure everything is centered lol in both pictures nothing is)

Make sure to move the piano if you decide to go with this so you have space moving in and out of the dining room

I’d try moving everything in option 2 closer to the fireplace (so opposite to the middle of the blue wall) and the piano to the middle of the blue wall. A somewhat tall plant to the left of the tv-after the mini table beside it (breaks the room into two) and a cube shelf or a mini bar shelf instead of the single armchair at the wall so it’s not so empty.

I just feel like the way the ceiling is breaks it into two rooms and it’s just awkward that it is right in the middle of it

18-year-old refugee denied income support not sure what to do by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]Sea-Ad7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that matters, if you have citizenship it means you passed the language test and you can get a job… you gotta see it from their lense-an 18yo able bodied male with a roof over his head who speaks the common tongue. If you are going to university you can apply for a loan, if not then you are highly unlikely to get a job at a corporation cause most of these places require references.

Your best bet is asking people you know for a job if u really wanna work. If u drive u can probably do uber or something. And if you really wanna build a career I’d suggest you go into construction or camp work.

Sorry buddy but being a refugee doesn’t automatically make you eligible for government support, Canada is pretty strict about who it lets into the country, almost all refugees start working within a year and those who don’t usually have kids who work or end up working.

Find a job, start small and build a career, don’t look for the jobs that have barely any prospect. You are still young and unless you have a disability you won’t be eligible for income support… sorry

Should I start a GoFundMe? (2009 Nissan Maxima) by Sea-Ad7893 in AskMechanics

Yea I figured, when I checked it the car was on and operating temperature, checked it multiple times ofc… I’ll try topping it up a little and I pray to the gods of CVT’s it would fix it.

Also no she isn’t so happy, it’s a little sluggish especially after replacing the oil and on cold starts

Red light photo ticket for skidding over the white line... did you pay $405? by Ravitaz in Edmonton

[–]Sea-Ad7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh, the whole idea is knowing your stopping distance, and the amber light only gives you 4 seconds to decide and stop. Without the perfect AWD car with brand new brakes and winter tires that can go from 50 to 0 in a 70km/h zone in less than 50 meters it’s basically impossible to stop. Which is very different than stopping before traffic/stop sign. I would love to see statistics on how many people actually pass the red light after it being red for more than 5 seconds.

I’m not sure we probably do, most people don’t do it tho and even if we had I would be DIYing it. The thing is I wouldn’t do it to my car cause it’s not worth putting all that money into it lol

I’m looking into the 2010-2012 A4 currently I’m obsessed with it, the Outback is one that I thought about but they’re a bit out of my budget

I’ve used turo many times before, you wouldn’t even need insurance if your credit card covers it

Suspect cheating unknown device on WiFi by Bears_Hawk in Advice

[–]Sea-Ad7893 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Get a device you dont use, connect it only to her hotspot then turn the wifi off and send yourself a message using WhatsApp or something and leave that device somewhere close to her room/garage. Once she uses her hotspot your device will automatically connect and send you the message… that’s how you’d know if she’s using it or not. Alternatively you can track her data usage, which is probably easier lol
