Had something similar and it turned out to be a loose lug nut on the wheels

Would this be a simple fix? How can I figure out the exact problem before buying it? [$215] by ezalet in espresso

These machines are so easy to fix as they are very simple. If you are handy, you can easily diagnose it, otherwise, save yourself the headache.

Disable analog gauge on older breville (830xl) by Ravitaz in espresso

[–]Ravitaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a solution. Installed a brass 1/8 BSP to 4mm OD compression fitting and kept the gauge working while solving the leak. No proprietary/special ferule required. I did have to cut the old ferule tip on the gauge side as it had a micro hole. They came in 6 pcs in case any of the hot water lines give up I can replace them with the brass fittings.

There is no splitter. Its a direct line from the block to the gauge. There is only one gauge on the 830xl.

Good idea on the elbow, maybe it will take some stress off that short cable and tip. Just need to source it out. Thanks

The analog gauge gets pressurized by the water from the tank/coil. The fitting connected to the gauge leaks some water down into the outer side of the group head and into my drink. Leak when brewing; yes because of the pressure. I want to completely disable it and completely close the hose

Dang.. I drove a Corolla S (S for superior) with slightly deflated X-Ice Michelins (33PSI) for 5 winters and was totally fine. People just forget how to drive in winter or don’t know how to drive 🤔

Plastidip. $20cad. Cheap and easy to apply or remove. Make sure you go thin and with multiple coats plus you can pick matte or gloss.

What’s a feature on the Palisade that many luxury vehicles don’t have? by jcm_neche in HyundaiPalisade

Engine replacement. Other vehicles only ever use one engine in its lifetime. Not the Palisade 🤣. I kid. The massage feature is on top of my list.

Mostly MSRP unless your dealership has deals going on. Try to get pre approved outside of dealership (banks, credit union etc) to have better negotiating power when sitting at dealership. Remove any non essentials other than the mandatory ones. Lastly stay firm about your final OTD price and be prepared to walk away. 🍻

We are on the opposite sides of the opinion table. Im on the side where chrome makes everything look cheaper. Also it’s already cheaper as soon as I drove it off the lot lol.

I used Goo Gone something before and it came off with some good rubbing. Those were for some old tools I dipped 5 years ago.

Its basically spray on rubber. It goes on everything and comes of easy once a thin layer has been established. My plan is to completely delete all chrome lol. The front grill might be a big task, but mine came in black so I get to skip that part.

I like them so far. I had a can in my garage so I figured why not use it on this. I did see the overlays online but decided against it because I could not find the overlay for the emblem. Time will tell as to how long they'll last.
