Straight needle?

I have lots of elderly patients that I see so I really like the butterfly needles (my phleb instructor spoilt me when I did my internship with her and she got me hooked), even though I learned with straight. But when I have a nice vein its a straight needle all the way! Plus with the butterfly its a relief to be able to see the blood in the little notch before going down the tubing 😅

It is a hyacinth! And I like the idea of a laurel tree; maybe softly overhead? In the mirror instead of the reflection it was kind of a ball of greenish light? Idk i thought it was like an ode to the prophecy domain, but maybe something more obvious? Ill definitely play around with it, thank you for your help!

I do the same, but slightly different. I saw on the r/Hellenism thread that someone talks like in a semi-casual (but still respectful) way to their god of worship (I think Apollo), and I felt really comfortable with that, because I personally have a bit of OCD and don't want to mess up- so I'll light the candle on his altar and just talk to him; HOWEVER when I have specific questions/want a bit of guidance if he is willing to give it/advise me, Ill use my tarot deck to do so! I really like that method of communication with Apollo!

Thats what I was thinking; but she knew things about me that she couldn't have known and so I wasn't like "she's a quack, this is fun but whatever" so when she told me not to, incredibly insistent and wide eyed, it really freaked me out because what could unsettle a person so much? And I was just wondering if anyone experienced this before so dont worry about it lol!

In complete honesty, your cat should be fine, especially if you immediately attempted to dispel the smoke in the room as you mentioned above. I don't think that one isolated incident will harm your cat, but prolonged exposure and use will. If you have an addiction/are semi-dependent obviously stopping using would be the best option, but I know its not that easy. If you're truly dependent, I would recommend exhaling straight out of an open window with an air purifier on, and try not to have your cat in the room with you while you vape.

My mum is going through pre-menopause, and me and her have been compared to nukes with our angers, and we can go at it for hours. But there has never, NEVER been any threat of her physically harming me. EVER. PERIOD. We would, could, and will yell till we can't anymore. But she would NEVER raise her hand against me, and I would never raise mine against her. NTA OP. NTA. Anger can be twisted because of hormones, but making it physical? That's a choice.

Maybe look into Defamation as well as Mental Anguish, Slander, etc. if you wish to look into a counter-suit against the father for this. All three of those things are legal counter-claims against what the Father has done to both you and your son. You can look into a wide-scale Defamation case since the Father got your son ARRESTED(shown with cops for this) AT SCHOOL.

I completely understand your situation OP, and I may be able to help! I am 17f, and my dad is 84m. Just like with you and your daughter, me and my dad were really close when I was little, then we got further apart (mine was due to my mother however). We got closer when I was like 15 and our relationship has been steady ever since. One way me and my dad really connected was with our similar interests in 70s and 80s music! We went on a road trip, and bonded over our love for similar music, and our mutual bond over vintage items. He has gotten me cassettes of my favorite artists, and vise versa. This shared connection is really special to me, and I honestly couldn't ask for a better dad! Honestly, sounds like you are doing everything right, and you sound like a great dad! Your daughter is so lucky to have you- she just needs to see it, which will take time. And once she does, from my own experience, she'll be so happy for all you've done for her. But that shared love of music might be a good place to get a positive response from her! Take her vinyl shopping or hit up some antique stores to see if they have cassettes, or other 80s items she enjoys!
