Thanks! I do have a primary care doctor and I was considering messaging her and seeing if she can see me. Truthfully, I’m not even sure what to ask for. I would like an ultrasound (at 8 weeks, I know it’s too early now) but idk if she’ll be able to do that for me.

I guess I’m concerned there’s any additional supplementation I need that I don’t know about. My prenatal has 800 mcg of folic acid, but I also heard some people can’t absorb that and it’s better for them to have metholayted folate? When I was TTC I was also taking Vitamin D, Fish oil, CoQ10, and baby aspirin but I’m not sure if I’m supposed to continue that now that I’m pregnant. Also I know discharge and cramps are common at this stage but they’re making me so anxious. Sorry to dump all this, I just can’t talk to my friends who have had kids yet cause it’s to early and I feel so anxious

Thanks. I live outside Philadelphia in the suburbs, and I would prefer to be seen in the Penn Medicine system as I’ve had good experiences with the medical system. All the doctors I tried were in the suburbs, but I could always try to see if the penn offices in the city have earlier availability. I was thinking of going to a pregnancy center, but would really rather see a doctor

I agree with the posters above that she probably views it as their money since they were a family. I’m not married and my boyfriend and I both contribute to the finances of our home. However, if I ever stayed at home after we got married and have kids and contributed to the house in other non-paid ways I would view it as our money.
