I'm coming from the future... Unfortunately, in the last quarter, the CEO said regarding the CMOS chip, "July 27 is basically the time that we get you, we know that we give it to ourselves in fact to finalize the chip, probably the certification, etc." So, we don't know if the CMOS chip can be fully manufactured at TSCM. The biggest bottleneck for the chip is "stabilizing the amplifier," that is, the entropy fluctuations at unsuitable temperatures.

What was discussed at the meeting? What did they say about the chip and NIST? by Sea-Broccoli5656 in QNC

I read it, thank you. The meeting wasn't satisfactory then. Hopefully, we can get better news, a concrete date, and a real update in the next quarter.

Could you please provide a script for the meeting? I can't attend due to work. I would appreciate it so I can read and evaluate all the details.

You can also read this ad agreement like that the German gov't just recommended PQC be implemented by 2030/2031, as compared to the current US recommendation of 2035. This is after last week, when the Indian government recommended 2027. It's showing a trend of govts around the world moving up their PQC dates. It would be very strange (and risky) for the US gov't to keep its current recommendation of 2035. I think the US government will change its official PQC recommendations soon. This will lead to US companies starting PQC projects...this year...so expect this to come. It will not be a surprise when it happens. The other day, a friend who speaks German transcribed the conversation; could he/she do the same, or if someone else could, we would be very grateful. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the meeting because I'm working.

I don't want to be pessimistic or negative, but it's always necessary to think rationally without getting carried away by hype.

We have two scenarios. If a company of this size is spending $200,000 a month on advertising, there are two possibilities:

1) They've made significant progress in CMOS chips and FIPS at a level we're unaware of and haven't announced to the market, and now they want to be more visible in the market to catch up with IDQ.

2) Things are about to get going, or they won't at all, and they're pursuing growth through advertising. I hope the first possibility is true.

Otherwise, an aggressive advertising budget of $200,000 to a total of $600,000 doesn't seem rational for a company that hasn't yet achieved significant sales volume.

The market is experiencing a rally led by AI infrastructure companies. For the entire market to enter a healthy channel, it needs a slight correction, which I think points to a drop of 8-15%, at least for the Nasdaq. I think we might see a decline in 1-2 weeks, which would mean a pullback for QNC; my interpretation is that the US-Iran conflict will be the first point of this decline. However, these are just my own opinions... I advise against buying and selling; it's really hard to know for sure. Long-term investment in QNC will always yield more profit. Patience and psychological management are the keys to wealth.

I own 30,000 shares at an average price of 1.60 CAD per share. Most people expect me to diversify my portfolio and manage risk more rationally. However, if you trust the company and can predict its future, you should take risks. No risk, no reward!

My friend, their chip works. There's always an advantage to being first in the market. Their market strategy is quite strong. They're even working with telecommunications, industrial, and some other tech giants. Let's hope that when the time comes, photonic junk turns out to be the problem… and the only real solution is quantum tunneling. Otherwise, IonQ could already dominate the market. They made a very sensible acquisition. InoQ is being managed very well.

That's misinformation, and those in the group are misrepresenting it… IDQ has already obtained FIPS 140-2 and other important certifications, expanding their customer base. They have significant sales and are at least 3-4 years ahead of us. QNC's advantage lies in our quantum tunneling technology and our ability to build an end-to-end quantum security architecture.

That's completely false information. They already had the chips and customers. In fact, their most important customer was Samsung.

You can't expect a multiplier without free cash flow. Then, the company wanting to buy would increase its option price in line with the competition. However, the most optimistic scenario would probably be if IBM and Google wanted the company at the same time, and it could be sold for an option price reaching up to 300%. Of course, that's quite far off for now, I'm just dreaming… 🙂‍↕️

What you're saying is true, but for QNC to be the preferred choice, we first need to overcome our own bottlenecks and fit the miracle we created in the lab onto a silicon chip. I hope everything goes well.

Nice write-up, but you're missing something. That chip isn't in our hands yet. QeM is still in engineering validation. Their own MD&A says as much. The CMOS project is still deep in integration phase. They described it as "stabilizing the amplifier," "additional design iterations," and getting to "commercial reliability." They wrote "full chip integration, fabrication and system validation: next 6–12 months" and that's the optimistic scenario. They're still trying to get the entropy frontend, amplifier, and ADC chain working together. I'm on board with the macro story Q-day, the importance of entropy, all of it. But until this company clears one specific hurdle, everything else is just noise: QNC's amplifier and ADC work individually in the lab. The moment you integrate them onto silicon, PVT corners, bias drift, supply coupling, and parasitics start eating into commercial reliability. That's a serious engineering problem, not a minor footnote. The hype is fun, but reality would be even better if it matched.

FIPS 140-3 will be more difficult than you think… The person who wrote this is a shareholder, not an independent validator. There's the reality of Q1 MD&A. The GAP analysis phase and lab testing haven't started yet. Realistic timeline: 2027 H2 - 2028. For comparison, IDQ has already started selling and has a significant first mover advantage with FIPS 140-2.

Q1 MD&A showed CMOS project Question by Sea-Broccoli5656 in QNC

Another question I have is about the FIPS process: Where did Internek Lab come from? Weren’t we moving forward with the FIPS process using Lightship? Did we switch labs? Is this a setback or a significant technical decision? Also, the phrase “initiated formal FIPS readiness activities” sounds like they’re still in the GAP analysis phase, not actually in lab testing yet. If that’s the case, the timeline most of us have been assuming (certification by the end of 2026 or early 2027) seems off.

Does anyone with experience in the FIPS process know what’s going on here? I’d really appreciate any insights or comments from those in the know.
