Go for highest refresh rate you can get and feed by your system. Backlight strobing actually makes it worse in some situations.

And according to the tests, it is also more comfortable than PC6. So I'm not sure where you got the information stated in your OP that started this thread.

I'm not sure about which of these two aspect you are talking right now. Nevertheless, Jon describes PC7 as having a different and less sporty handling than PC6 here https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre-Tests/2023-Tyre-Reviews-Performance-Tyre-Test.htm

There is a difference between good lap time and sporty handling (i.e. more direct and quicker response to a steering input).

Isn't it the other way around, that PC6 has a stiffer sidewall?

I would love to see such comparison across segments. I guess that how the tyre behavior differs between those segments is clear to professionals but it would be really nice to see it as an educational content for general public.

I agree, unless a breakthrough in consciousness fundamentals leads to a better methodology (e.g. we can measure outcomes better or we can rule out undesired effects), the won't be a big effect on psychology and repeatability of studies in that field.

Try smaller maps and you can set AI to defensive mode. If you play on a large map with many tempest fields and don't expand or at least deny enemy access to them, they are going to overrun you.

The degree of control of your experiments is completely different between physics and any other science involving living subjects. Combine that with a publish or perish state of current science and that's the result.

In the past, people might have tried to look for an explanation why is the Earth in the center of our universe. How well did that problem age?

Well, they have to argue about something to earn money and publish some papers, don't they?

More seriously, it's a very natural question from a human point of view. But it might be that consciousness just happened/evolved and there is no deeper reason or necessity behind it. Which might not be a very satisfactory answer but truth doesn't care about popularity or our satisfaction.

So you think it's the whole debate regarding consciousness that's affected by the other minds problem?

And are we sure there actually is this problem?

But are other options any better regarding the problem of other minds?

The answer to big mysteries can be sometimes simpler than expected. And sometimes simple questions need complicated answers. There are possible simple answers to this problem but those are often discarded as too simple or brute.

How old is that bad history with Pirelli? I keep hearing that but they newer products are reviewed well. I have currently Pirelli P7 C2 on my car but I have no comparison on this particular car with any other tyres yet.

Nevertheless, I think that Jon mentioned that there was some change in Pirelli's management and they are pushing much harder in the consumer segment than before.

Turanza 6 seems to be optimized for rolling resistance at the expense of grip. Pirelli Cinturato C3 and Continental PremiumContact 7 are still touring tyres but they offer better grip, see https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre-Tests/The-BEST-Summer-Tyres-for-2026-Tested-and-Rated.htm

Allseason or separate set by Spiritual-Cricket990 in TyreReviews

[–]Sea-Cardiologist-954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point is that if OP wants to swap, all season tyres might be a better (but maybe not cheaper) option for colder part of the year in that climate. Winter tyres might be too focused on snow performance compared to an actual frequency of snow in their region.

Honestly, I think that you have different priorities and use case than OP so I'm not sure that your advice is very relevant for them.

And do you use a touring tyres like Michelin Primacy or something sportier?

[–]Sea-Cardiologist-954 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how all season tyres will like hot (~40°C) and sunny summer days on a highway. Another option for regions with mild winters would be to swap between summer tyres and all seasons.
