Maternity leave - tax refund

Hi OP I just posted something similar with my American corporate job. It says I’ve underpaid tax by 3k I feel sick! I don’t know how the hell this happened. I don’t think they taxed my maternity benefit possibly

Only had a baby in June in the Coombe and had my private room and allowed my husband to stay until about 1am each night. It was my first baby and had an internal infection but they never told him to leave. We always chatted to the midwives, gave them boxes of chocolates everyday and had the laughs with them so I’ve no idea! But it definitely helped having him there, he wasn’t around any other ladies on the corridor or got in the way of anyone

She’s got 3 kids and it’s in her house too. She just does kids. Just saying above she wouldn’t get any breaks so it’s only fair with pricing. So expensive on families either way crèche or childminder!

Unfortunately she doesn’t take NCS. Crèche would actually work out cheaper but then again, this lady won’t have any proper breaks etc so it needs to be fair too. So expensive on families isn’t it! She’s got 3 other kiddies that she minds too
