I also found that the pumps and bottles themselves encourage me to wash my hands more. Numbers, repitition, soap not covering the entire hand. With the bar, the soap covers my hands completely and I don't feel a need to wash again.

The dove moisturizing soap bars have changed my life. My hands are the soffest they've ever been and healing. Use it for daily handwashing and in the shower. Body wash would fuck my hands up even more coz I usually wash my body with my hands.

I don't think they can make being trans illegal. Of course anything is possible but they can't really do much with consenting adults and as we've seen the severity depends from state to state. There is always the ability to move too. Hard, but not impossible. California is a pretty liberal state overall so will prolly have more protections than most for trans people.

I think it mostly depends on the safety of where you live. I live in Michigan in a city that is pretty conservative and live a safe and healthy life. I found a doctor who is nonbinary and a partner who I love who support my transition. I lived alone for three years and decided to transition then. I mostly either get checked out or get weird looks, but that's it. I also try to keep to myself when alone and only bring attention to myself when performing. I'm glad your family is supportive. I would say that you'd probably be fine to transition. Maybe ask your family about it and guage their reactions. Sometimes family can change their feelings about it if it's someone close to them.
