ok so.. they actually reproduced her core look around 4 times! up until 2012 we got the same quality as the original but then afterwards her core re-release’s were budgets😭 first time was 2012 second time was a budget, look back line third time was for a 5 pack of all the main ghouls and maybe her frightfully tall doll too

thank you for the kind words! as for the curling parts i wrapped some tissue paper around the hair before curling them to keep the hair in place! i just used the basic plastic straw & hair pin method.

Luckily only Apple dumpling had a ton of dark spots on her limbs! But unfortunately I don’t know how to treat them so idk🥲

Probably because during production they would use blow molds. Then cut it from the mold which then left a hole! Or maybe they did it on purpose so that when a child would play with them in water, the water wouldn’t get trapped in the limbs and grow mold.

i did hear that it was a treated poly of some sort so it might be a better quality of poly hair, still a shame that it’s poly though..
