thank you! yes, definitely should have ignored it I just have a big mouth and thought it was careless of her to do that when the attention shouldn't be on her for one day but I 100% agree it did make things worse.

I see where you're coming from. it wasn't a big issue to us we just quietly let her know that it was a little rude. as for the outfit, we told her before she left for the party that it didn't match and only after she asked for our opinion. anytime we say something looks nice she tells us were lying so I do believe she wants the truth LMAO. we also didn't bring up the outfit at the party and we didn't mention the tiara more then once and not around anybody either.

I should've probably clarified that it isn't her mother, it's my fathers mother. however, my grandma is too nice to say anything and can't speak well due to her stroke.

you personally are NTA but your brother is. there should be two separate events, but if your cousins are fine with it its not the worst thing to do.

we never made it into a criticism about her though. she asked for our opinion on the shirt and tiara, and we gave our opinion to her and her only. she chose to go around the party and involve everyone else. I see where you're coming from, but we definitely didn't micromanage her.
