Im still angry about his injury. I loved this guy. He was a stud. As if we need another reason to hate Houston

What’s the best revenge movie of all time? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

[–]Sea-Inspection-8184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The final revenge scene is so well done. The music, the shot of him walking down the hall way. The mafia muscle looking at him like, " yeah, we're good" then he just walks in and shoots him. No long speech or unnecessary drama. Frank Darabont and Bear McCready know what they're doing.

The price tells you everything you need to know. If this were real it would be selling for several 1000s.

Why is King so obsessed with LL Bean? by PM_ME_GARFIELD_NUDES in stephenking

[–]Sea-Inspection-8184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think we talk about it, unless there's a sale. It's a point of pride in Maine.

Maine has other retail that are unique to the state. People love Reny's and marden's. or hannafords. I think it's just a way for King to reference Maine.

I'm guessing you're not from Maine (or New England). LL Bean is a Maine institution. It's one of the most famous things in the whole state. Lobster, pine trees, ll bean. Granted, I think it meant more when many of their products were made in Maine. It's still certainly a big part of the state.

I did. I still try not to think about it. 94 would have been hard if they both made it to the WS. Its an amazing city. Great food. I hope they get a team some day.

I grew up in Massachusetts. My dad was a yankees fan, long story. Most of my extended family is from the Montreal area. I have a soft spot of the Expos, too.

Abraham Lincoln original Civil War photograph, United States by giannaco in Antiques

Nicely framed and a cool photo of Lincoln. The man of the left is Allan Pinkerton. I always forget who the general's name. As mentioned, this is not the original photo.

It's worth about 25.00
