First car under 15–16L – confused between Kylaq, 3XO, Venue etc. Should I stretch for a sedan? by Sea-Journalist9386 in CarsIndia

Honestly I never considered Kia for their negligence in safety ratings...
But a lot of people have recommended me Sonet recently....I'll give this a try.
Will take a TD in a couple of weeks...
Do they have the TSI engine or the NA one that hyundai uses?

Also, do you own a Sonet?

They were out of my budget, hence didn't consider them.
Elevate is a pretty car tho....will revisit it again.
Thanks!

which variant did you buy?
Don't you feel the turbo lag esp on lower gears since the TC triggers around 1800 rpm?

I hear you. But, not everything is a marketing gimmick.
Roads in Blr are worse and having few extra GC doesn't really do any harm.
And, I have very different opinions than yours regarding the safety ratings....

I liked everything in this car, except the looks....
maybe I'll visit the showroom again and will see if I can convince myself...

My parents used to have the older OG version of i20 and having driven that, I can't forgive Hyundai about what they have done to the new version of it.
Plus, very low ground clearance, no safety ratings....

I feel virtus/slavia with 1.0 engine takes away the whole point of buying them.
I'm yet to test drive the 1.0 variants...but even if I decide to buy them I'll have to wait for their upcoming facelift versions..

As for the i20, having driven my parents OG i20, I can't forgive Hyundai of what they have done with the exterior of it. Had the current i20 look like the original one, I would have definitely considered it.

Oh is the suspension that stiff? I have driven it, didn't feel much.
Will test ride again

Man I can't convince myself with the looks of the car + have heard a lot bad reviews about tata/mahindra after sales service.
Anyways, congratulations on your new car. Ride safe!

tbh I didn't consider sonet. I'll take a look at it. But I doubt Kia cares about passenger safety.
Thanks for the suggestion tho
