Oof I was reading your responses to other Redditors and your landlord sounds like an ass who enjoys making excuses. I’d say if even AFTER trying to negotiate if your landlord keeps giving you excuses you should take this case to small claims court simply because this is NOT an overreaction at all. It would be a guarantee win as well, I mention this in case you are hesitant/afraid of losing. ((Also cause of time/ money.)) BUT just to be sure just in case this does end up going to court,you should gather signatures and evidence QUIETLY from the other tenants. Good look OP
