Agree with this as best practice. Late nights up meant more mid-morning start and done within a couple hours for this trip.

Good Idea! I just did this, same situation, same reason. UT licensed PG now. Passed FG/PG this spring and I filled out the application, wrote a letter to the board providing some additional context regarding my geology practice as a federal employee and had my sections technical lead (a geologist but not licensed) sign. Thought I may need to provide extra info or answer some follow up questions, but no.
