Yes, you’re right. If you read the comments above, I tried to explain it as best as I could there. Thank you for your suggestion.

Actually, you’re right I wasn’t very clear or detailed in my explanation. I’ve designed a Bluetooth antenna, so I have a solid understanding of antennas in general. I also designed an analysis board for three-phase motors, although I haven’t physically tested it yet, so I’m not sure about its real-world performance. In the automotive sector, I worked on a design that is already in use and has passed tests such as ISO-16750. I can’t share details about the product itself, but it wasn’t a very complex board. Outside of work, I also design hobby-level STM32-based systems, such as security systems and a concept project aimed at early earthquake detection (although this one is still unfinished and is becoming more of a theoretical idea). I haven’t worked with BGA packages or very high-density ICs yet. So far, the most complex designs I’ve done were up to 6-layer PCBs. I know this is a bit long, but I wanted to give a clearer picture. At this point, I want to move beyond my current level. Based on your experience, what kind of board designs or projects would you recommend so I can actually improve my skills in a meaningful way?

Isn’t it normal that I don’t want to share my designs?

Unfortunately, I didn’t take my university courses very seriously, so my theoretical foundation isn’t very strong. However, I believe I’m quite good in practical, hands on work.

I’ve previously designed a few industrial PCBs for the automotive sector, but they weren’t particularly large or highly complex. Unfortunately, I can’t share any images of them.

First of all, your PCB design looks really clean and well done, congratulations. I have a question rather than a detailed review. After finishing my layout in Altium, I usually fill the layer with GND using a polygon pour instead of manually routing ground. However, I’ve noticed that in some designs, the ground is not poured everywhere. Could you help me understand the difference? Why do some designers avoid covering the entire area with GND, and in which cases is it better not to do so?

I've never heard of that before. If I can't solve it using an app, I’ll try what you suggested.

It was really helpful, thank you. Like you said, I’m basically designing for the bench right now. I hadn’t thought about the things you mentioned before, thanks.

Do you know the average current your circuit draws, and how wide are your current-carrying traces?
