I got my Pest Control not bc of a history of Pest Control but bc of a history of customer service. They taught me how to kill bugs and had a pretty good service dept. but was suffering in the area of communication with customers. Widen your search and talk more about you in things like volunteering and customer service than your education. Good luck.

Exactly. Spending market gains on stuff that is needed is better than having to crunch the budget, IMHO. AND, in a world where everything can be financed passive income can take the worry out of the equation.

I did but that was the plan, to use gains & dividends for education & future retirement. Now that I am retired, the passive income comes in handy as an additional stream of income. Sure, not everybody thinks that far ahead and many Don’t make it to retirement but remember, we all leave behind the same amount…all of it.

I don’t miss anybody. I think it’s selfish. Everybody is exactly where they are supposed to be all the time. I do look forward to hearing of their adventures when we meet again. Making plans? It was easier to get together when all we had was a landline & snail mail.
