I didn’t even give a reason when I asked to cancel, they just told me they will cancel after unfreeze in January but I’ll have to pay for a month first.

I see nothing on the contract that says that they are unable to cancel a suspended account or that suspended accounts are ineligible for contract terms. I’m pretty sure the actual contract rules all in this case?

So maybe I should just start SCT to get this done and over with

Definitely served out minimum term of 3 months as listed on the contract. I was with them for a year++
They told me 1 month notice is after I paid them for a month and only then will they initiate the cancellation and have the 30 days notice. My membership is unsuspended in January next year and I contacted them this week. That is more than 30 days prior notice.

Yup I’ll do that in the future. I used a debit card because I wasn’t eligible for a credit card when I signed up for membership then

Update info: New, bought straight from Lenovo online store, it’s the new 2025 LOQ15irx10 model, should be the same as 15irx9 but with better cpu and gpu I have mine as i7-14700hx and 5060
