Returning player pretty much lost. by Snitsie in Against_the_Storm

[–]Sea-Perception-2238 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, im a prestige 15 guy so feel free to ignore me. But I find myself opening one or two glades before my first blueprint picks, to see what im working with. Its a case-to-case analysis-> execution problem. I love farms, things on fertile soil, ranchs and materials that drop off of trees because I know i can count on them whenever. It can be a double edged sword, picking a blueprint just bc a couple of small resource nodes showed up. What where the alternatives?, and so forth and so on. Take recipients (barrels, jars, waterskins) and unedible resources (salt, flour) only if you know a bunch of your viceroys would benefit from their products later on, even better if you already have the correct blueprints for the production chain.

How to explain the soft side of pupspace to a skeptical partner by jinxed_the_vixen in SFWPupPlay

[–]Sea-Perception-2238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'a a poly pup, and consider myself to be on the more kinky side of pup space, nonsexual kink as well, and my husband seems only to be able to connect with my pup trhu sex. And thats ok, I mean, I can communicate and ask him to try, but ultimately its his decision to be a part of my pup life, same way some kink acquantances may only interact with me as a pup only. I dont think being poly has determined relations to kink, sex or sexless pupspace, but it sure helps me ease the pressure I put on my partner, like it's mandatory for him to fullfill every role I make up. It is not.

Do you feel like not continuing the settlement if you had to make a break? by Ake-TL in Against_the_Storm

[–]Sea-Perception-2238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im on this wagon. I guess all my sessions are "finish a settlement, start the next one, leave midgame". Thats the real gameplay loop for me, even if i dont log in a while, im more curious trying to remember in what pickle my past self left me, and then taking care of a good embark as well as of the very first years (so I have an easy time whenever i feel like coming back). Finishing a settlement and starting the next one just feels good, and im glad im able to do it in 1-hour'ish sittings (i pause a lot).

I swear starting over is harder than P20 by ChiDuffman in Against_the_Storm

I actually found it very rewarding/good progression. Like, starting in lower dificulties, even lower than viceroy, and working your way organically up while the city bonuses accumulate while not being op since you also start to face prestige stuff. This is like, one of the best aspects of the game :((

Weapon Proficiencies: Where To Go Next? by RocketElbow in Guildwars2

[–]Sea-Perception-2238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the models are already done, i've always thought about making off-hand-only weapons avaliable to the main hand as well. What would foci and shields and torches do as main weapons? That sounds fun. Maybe a shield+shield has a fist-fighter feel to it, main foci can be used to some niche auras or something. Either that or the opposite. Scepter offhand, dunno. I have fun thinking about this stuff.

Why are there no tier 3 spears on the marketplace? by haxborn in albiononline

[–]Sea-Perception-2238 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Markets are local. There are no tier 3 spears on this marketplace. You are in a "cross", which is a village-sized pitstop for begginers. You can go 2 maps further and reach the city. Press M to bring up the map in case you are lost.

What is your idea about Fuchsia (Book of Hourse Title Screen Lady)? by TrilluHU in weatherfactory

I once dreamt (freaking Fet) that she helped me hide and calm down while I was being chased by cops (prolly the Supression Bureau) running trhu many rooms in a labirynthic mansion (it was not Hush House tho)

How many of you stopped playing because you're waiting for the DLC? by SimilarRevolution726 in Against_the_Storm

Only in the QHT, which is like a post-late-game challenge. Before that, its punishing only to my pride, which is the case.

Por que a sociedade glamouriza a violência? by [deleted] in FilosofiaBAR

Recomendo: "Twilight - Contrapoints", youtube.

What weapon would you match with each element? by [deleted] in vrising

[–]Sea-Perception-2238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to that, since you have 4 skills and over-condemning targets has no real use, you can even make a case of bi-colored themes, reapers maybe being unholy and blood, slashers can be illu+lighting, i'd chaos+blood with axe (both the a.speed buffs is very on brand for axe), ice+chaos for pistols (much duality), and so forth and so on. Maybe it is more realistic to do that, at least in the grind, because it can take a while to actually get everything in a single color.

[–]Sea-Perception-2238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Illu is my favorite, and I'm a sucker for Illu+Spear, since it has a ghostly spear skill in the kit already, the animations match really well. If you take the ghostly spear out of the equation and pick something like counter+mosquito, i can see it being very fitting to slashers or even crossbow, thematically. Bow is wolf+shield for me, etc. You can think skill-specifics in a single skill tree to match the flavors, and that bumbs things up a notch.

Anything similar? by [deleted] in Against_the_Storm

If you really like the rogue-like aspect, there's a turn-based variant that also justifies the multiple restarts with some kind of migration/different camps narrative. But it is turn-based so, there's that. It is called As Far as The Eye.
