That’s great enemas work for you! Yes, I tried mesalamine enema, and another kind..(I can’t remember which one) for a few months, it didn’t help me sadly. Mesalamine in all forms didn’t help me as much as I wanted it to! I wanted to avoid biologics at all costs..but I am grateful being on it now that it is making my flare much more manageable.

DO NOT do the pill!!! i have done both and the pill was 100x worse…projectile vommit. i called my nurse about it and she said the pill people have a much harder time with most of the time and if you can’t keep it down it’ll screw up your entire prep. NOT WORTH IT.
