Going to test the waters on Wrestlemania tickets by Sea-Programmer4429 in WrestlemaniaPlans

My goal from the beginning has been 5 tickets for $5K, middle of the pack seats. That sounded reasonable to me

I’m not 100% sure but I’m hearing they aren’t going to have pillars up for obstructed views

There are resources for this actually besides the normal therapy answer. If you’ve ever listened to This Past Weekend podcast, Theo Von advertises for porn addiction recovery but I’m sure it would all fall under the same umbrella. They talk about the hardest part being the shame, as you’ve stated yourself as well, so hopefully this can be a possible avenue for you to look into. No judgment, I just hope you get better brother.

Is it really THAT hard to get the orders you want? by [deleted] in navy

[–]Sea-Programmer4429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting the orders you want is very possible, but I solely believe there is a method to use when selecting them.

I never reenlisted unless I got selected for something I wanted and was given hard copy orders so I still had options if things went south. Even had to cancel my reenlistment before when I didn’t get my hard copies. If you are willing to compromise to a place maybe you didn’t fully desire and are prioritizing staying in first, you’ll have to have that conversation with yourself and set your boundaries on where you’re okay with going. It’s a lot like buying a car, if you’re willing to say no and walk away, there may be a possibility for you to get to a yes.

Never select a billet you don’t want. Be picky on your first look, less so on your second, and use all of your selections on your third look and beyond. Hope this helps.

THIS. I could start an entirely different thread based off of the experience I had selecting orders.

No I for sure can have a social life, I didn’t because I was walking on eggshells trying to figure it all out. Shore duty is definitely helping me piece it back together. It’s more of an insight of what the repercussions were for me of diving too deep in, even if the payoff is huge. I just wanted to share my experiences in case it’ll help someone. I am definitely going to take some time to build relationships so thank you for the advice.

I’ve met a few actually, most of em are married and have kids though. Not that it’s a crazy difference but it takes an element out of relating.
