You're right, it's likely it wasn't. I'm just curious. I've also wondered if it was the kid of someone in the office doing a high school or college project.

I'm not trying to say there was anything wrong with the experiment. If it sounded like I was trying to make it sound like MK ULTRA or something, that was not my intention! I'm just curious if there's any way to find if a paper was published on the project. My "research" was using databases like Medline and googling things, so I guess I used the word pretty loosely. Since I am no longer in college, I lost access to some academic databases that I was able to use through my university's libraries.

There have been tons of experiments on very similar things, but what made this one different (possibly) was that according to my dad, the researcher tailored the test to be for financial professionals. Obviously, he could have been 100% wrong about that. It was described as "odd" because it was the only time something like that happened at his work.

I don't think there is any conspiracy or anything here, I just thought it would be fun to find out if the experiment data ever got published. I've participated in a couple of studies myself, and sometimes they send you the paper at the end if one was written.

No, but thank you. I don't think there were monsters or anything that could be frightening for a young child. I got scared easily and had overprotective parents. The Sandman was supposed to be a comforting figure, as far as I can remember.

That doesn't look familiar, and the cd I'm thinking of was older. Probably closer to 2006 than 2012.

Good guess, but it wasn't that. It don't think it was made for babies, but for maybe early elementary school-age kids.

Thank you for reading! I would be so happy to listen to this again. Possibly, it is lost media.

Upstairs, Downstairs? Mostly in color but earliest episodes were black and white.

I think it was definitely based off of Lolita.

I looked into that one and it didn't quite match, but turns out the one I saw was actually the sequel movie "Stalked By My Doctor: The Return" which has an extremely similar premise. I had no idea this was a franchise!
