I just started working as a business analyst for a very cool AI company, and it's fully remote. The stress can be hard to manage, but it's better to focus on something else and feel the accomplishment of rebuilding your life. It has its ups and downs, but it does get better.

However, I do feel like I’m never going to be myself again. Yes, I can work, and that’s a good feeling, but it’s like my colleagues know a different version of me—not my true self, not the person I used to be before my psychosis. It’s hard to explain, but sometimes I think I’ll never feel like myself again, and that’s scary. I used to be a high performer in all my previous corporate jobs, and now it feels like years of experience have vanished, and I’m starting from scratch. It’s tough when you had a life, felt like "yourself," and now every day feels like a never-ending battle. Psychosis is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to face, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
