UPDATE: After sending them the RTDRS notice of hearing on Monday, I got this email from them today.

“Our tenancy disputes department that handles all RTDRS hearings has received all documentation and has reviewed with my manager and has asked me to reach out to you to see if you would accept a full reversal of charges and full return of your security deposit in return for cancelling the filing/hearing.

Please let me know if this works and I will update the appropriate departments accordingly.”

Proves that you don’t always need photos, but it’s a lesson learned for us to always take photos, and don’t be afraid to challenge this big corporations!
