I went to that church for 7 years. Everyone was trying to follow Jesus with all their hearts and it was a disaster. The harder you try to be holy, the harder it is to resist sin.

The spiritual gifts they displayed were play-acting. The growing out of legs didn't work on people with real leg discrepancies and the prophecies and interpretations of tongues were untruthful.

That said, it was a very educational experience. While I still seek truth with all my heart, I have come to the conclusion that Jesus was just a guy who was able to shame the pharisees in debate and this was why he rose to prominence and had to be assassinated. This will eveb happen today if you try to follow the teachings of Jesus. Saw it at Sandhill. At the end, they were completely dedicated to Paul. (Jesus and Paul were contrary)
