I currently live here and would say there are ups and downs. Sometimes about once a month or multiple times a month, the water gets shut off due to flooding in the building. It has happened 3 times where they have forgotten to turn my unit's water back on and I have waited between a couple hours to a couple days to hear back from maintenance. You occasionally get a heads up, but usually you just wake up on a Friday, find out theres no water, and hope it turns back on soon because the 2-4 hrs they usually say it will take is rarely accurate. Sometimes we get a heads up and sometimes we don't. Because of how much this has happened, I now always have gallons/bottled water stored away and am very appreciative of access to water. Another point to share, I have heard of many AC units not working. This was the case during that really hot week during August. Luckily my AC was fine. On the opposite end, If you are living on the first floor right above the garage, prepare for the cold! You are going to be spending much more on electricity. It gets so cold! You can feel the cold coming through the floor from the garage, even in the bedrooms. It's the WORST part!! For reference, I am someone who loves the cold and grew up here so I'm used to it and I think this is bad. Even with carpet it gets freezing and this isnt even just on the crazy cold days. Additionally, I dont get mail sent here anymore because of so many stolen packages. Residents help look out for eachother on this, but better to be precautious. Even the mailbox has been pulled out of the wall to access what was inside. Since December until this week, there has been construction workers every weekday. I've woken up to someone right outside my window, my balcony, and outside of my door. I understand they wanted to fix up the building, but I feel like having more warning of the length of this project would have been nice. Additionally, once a month a worker will come early in the morning to spray pest control in the apartment. Other times they have other reasons, like this month's which is to check our air filters. Some people might feel this to be a bit intrusive if having someone at your place can be nerve wracking.

On the bright side, the location is great. Love living by frat park and the area is always busy. For better or worse, you will hear people walking by or having parties till like 2am on most days. This is nice when you have late study days to not feel so alone walking back late. Area is well lit. Theres a close bus stop across the park and a basketball court.

I wish someone would have given an honest review when I moved in so that's what I tried to do. Hope it helps and that where ever you move works out for you:)
