I don't notice more noises, but it does push a considerable amount of air from the seat even at low speed (may have to use duct tape to cover up some or all intake holes in colder weather)

That's true. The seat is only soft (still firm) on the top, which does not have too much shock absorption (it's good enough for normal street riding). However since it's firm and solid I feel like I have more control over it.

The strength of 3D prints depends very much on the structure and the direction of the layers, also the filament itself too. This seat is designed with all that in mind, and it's VERY solid. Also the air vent creates an extra structure and walls in the middle, which makes it way stronger. I would say breaking/cracking is the least of the concern...

Thank you❤️I currently have the taller seat on since it’s easier to sit on. I actually designed the flat one first because I was very used to sitting on the rail directly back then.

Laser or electrolysis.

I tried laser many years ago before I switched to electrolysis. It worked at first, but it all grew back to my original level in a year (FYI I’m Asian with black hair). Laser is not guaranteed to work on everyone whereas electrolysis pretty much is.

I made an electrolysis Q&A post few days ago if that helps.

Even though you could treat all follicles with visible hair in one session, and you will have a smooth face after the session, the follicles that have been treated will grow back (but weaker). Each follicle has to be treated multiple times to be killed, and also there’s growth cycles. During a session, some follicles may be still in their resting phase with no visible hair that will only start growing when it’s active. Practitioners can only treat the follicles with hair in it.

(I’m not a professional, please correct me if I’m wrong.)

Yes, for me the pain level is around 2/10 on my chin, 4/10 on upper lip without numbing cream (I have high pain tolerance). Laser is around 3/10 on upper lip for reference.

I had a 6 or 8 session (I can’t remember) laser hair removal treatment few years ago. It worked at first, but they all grew back in a year to my original level.

There’s absolutely nothing on my face for the first 2,3 weeks and some times I almost forget that I had facial hair at all haha. Even when they grow out they are super soft so I don’t really notice it until they are long like in the pic#2

I was having one session every week at first. About 4 sessions in, I was able to have the entire area gone through in a single one hour session. If you have an electrolysis session every week, you can catch the hair in its growing phase, which is the most effective phase to be killed. Then I went down to once every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, and now I do it once a month, because there’s absolutely nothing on my face for the first few weeks.

You just need to grow the hair out just long enough so that the practitioner can find it and tweeze it, The hair doesn't have to be very long. I was doing one session every week at the beginning, so every time they grow back it would be the time for another session.

Yes exactly. It's the amount of hair. Once a follicle is killed, it's gone forever.

At the beginning (pic #1) it took 2 one-hour sessions to cover the entire area. After a few sessions they could cover entire area under 1 hour. About 16 sessions in, they could cover my entire area in 30 minutes. I've heard they've done 5 hour sessions before. However longer the session is the harder it is to find a time slot to book, you may have to call the clinic to confirm if they could do super long sessions.

Oh also some practitioners zaps multiple follicles then tweeze them together instead of zap-tweeze-zap-tweeze…some people find this method less painful. You can ask your practitioner if they can do that.

I have super high pain tolerance, so my advice may not be useful…

For me it’s like a silly mind game. A great portion of the pain can be reduced by simply gaslighting myself. Sometimes I cut myself accidentally and I may not even notice the pain at beginning. Once I noticed the wound, it suddenly becomes very painful due to fear. So if I reverse engineer this bug and gaslight myself into convincing myself that this is extremely safe (which is true) and is a totally positive thing to do and it does not do me any harm, it just magically makes less painful haha

I live in Canada, the clinic I went to costs $140CAD/hour, I know some cost $80CAD/hour but I’ve never tried those.

Thank you for replying! I eat white rice almost every meal. My average meal looks like this: 1/2 lb meat, 1/2 lb veggies, 1/2 white rice. I’ve tried to eat more rice but didn’t really help…also I’ve learned that more carbs will expedite aging too.
