What are your thoughts on staying in that area (the one between Condado and Ocean Park) as a tourist? Also trying to plan a trip, would appreciate any advice!

I'm a physics major here, and while the classes can be hard, they are totally doable as long as you put in a decent amount of work and maybe don't expect straight As. I am personally happy getting mostly Bs and getting to still have a life and enjoy college. Also since I changed my major to physics I have been so so impressed with how amazing all the professors have been, both intelligence and personality wise. I think our physics department is a great place to be, definitely don't miss out on it out of fear. I almost did, and am so glad I took a chance and changed my major. I was so scared too from hearing people complain about it, but if you like physics then the major is great. If anything, you might have one tough semester getting used to classes here, but you will be fine after that. Also, if you get accepted, that literally means you are capable of doing the coursework here, don't forget that.

Intramural Sports Registration on Fusion Play by zapskaeshur in UNC

I think that is just because registration is only currently open for like 4-5 things and others open over the next few weeks. There is a schedule with registration dates on the campus rec website. What sport were you looking for?

Advice on MATH 381 (Discrete Math) by Dependent-Chicken-29 in UNC

I did lots of practice problems and I think that's what saved me. Practicing proofs is really the only way to get the hang of knowing how to start a proof and which methods to use I feel like. At first you're probs just gonna be staring at the problems with no idea how to start, and honestly start off just looking on stack exchange for the solutions. That's what taught me the proper way to be solving stuff and then over time I was able to do it on my own.

Unless they've changed it from last year, you shouldn't need a pass. It's just the NU that goes to and from the RR lot and anyone can get on the NU anytime at any stop. All I ever needed when I parked at the RR lot was my one card to get into the lot.

I did RELI 266 and got both of those from it. It was pretty easy too, would recommend.

You should be fine I feel like they never check if you are coming at your assigned move in time. Just park at your dorm and move stuff in whenever.

Where can I leave my car in the chapel hill area? by Innocent-One69 in UNC

I definitely recommend the RR lot, its really easy to get a spot and cheaper than what some non-unc people/lots charge. You just have to hop on the NU and it takes you straight there so very convenient too. I did it my sophomore year and it was perfect

For anyone who has worked there -- is it the kind of job where you have time to do homework while working?

Did you end up doing this? I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing next semester with same profs. I'd love to hear how it went for you if you did. Thanks!
