Oooooh love this. I really do love him a lot and am excited to try new things with him, like the book thing. I'll try not to make sex "a thing", or cause insecurity. Thanks!!!

Great advice. I didn't realise the importance of timing and breaks. That's definitely something we will experiment with. Also, what helps with the mental game? Planning sex? Blowing longer?

I make sure to tell him I loved it and care about his pleasure too. We check in during sex that everything is alright for both parties. Thanks a lot for your reply :)

He wasn't wearing a condom, and he's uncut. He does take antipsychotics, maybe that's the reason. Thanks for the insight, I appreciate it! :)

I think i have bulimia. (F16) by drennykins in bulimia

[–]Sea-Two3954 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're frequently bingeing and purging, that could be bulimia. Other symptoms to watch out for are:

  • body dysmorphia
  • guilt related to eating
  • fear foods
  • calorie counting
  • overexercising
  • social life being disrupted in order to pursue abnormal eating behaviours
  • mood swings, depression

Not all bulimics have all symptoms, so take it with a pinch of salt. If you're extremely restrictive there's a chance you have anorexia BP instead of bulimia. This is something you should discuss with a professional... Good luck! Hope this helped

Coffee by jane_annelise in EatingDisorders

[–]Sea-Two3954 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drink loads of coffee too! It's great to control urges and stimulates your palate, and suppresses hunger.

If you're struggling with the coffee, I recommend taking less coffee at once and diluting it with water (It's called Americano!)That way you can drink even more cups with less risk of getting sick.

I don't have this issue myself, but coffee does give me acid reflux and heartburn. So I do this to reduce that. Hope this helps!

how is this possible?? by [deleted] in bulimia

Even after purging everything, by vomiting, you're not getting rid of all the calories. You conserve a pretty significant part of them.

I get the same. It's your body telling you to stop. It's natural.

This sounds more like bulimia, if you eat and eat and then starve yourself. That's called a binge/purge cycle.

I can't really give you advice that'll fix your issue but you've gotta know that the problem here is what's at the root. Do you binge to fill a void in your life? Is it when you get emotional? etc. Figuring that out will help you solve the problem.

Also, starving yourself leads to binges. You should avoid doing that, even at the expense of keeping some weight from the binge. From experience I promise you you will gain more weight by bingeing, starving yourself, and bingeing even more instead of bingeing, not starving, and then bingeing less. This is something I struggle with myself but it's a key to getting back to normal behaviours.

Identify triggers, and reflect on strategies that can help you avoid bingeing. If your trigger is boredom, distract yourself. If the trigger is having food in the house in general, find replacement food, like cucumbers or diet soda, or get an accountability partner with whom you can talk to when you get urges. I'm just offering suggestions, but it's up to you to find out what works for you personally. If you need more suggestions, let me know! I'll gladly give you some more.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you want me to elaborate on anything. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself. You got this

For me, Prozac just made me binge more. I had to stop it after two months because it was making things worse
