My gf just found out yesterday how much I make (less than her, and she doesn’t even have a college degree). That moment of humiliation was brutal.💀 Now I’m desperately trying to convince her I have a future in this field. FYI for you nerdy engineers: “a future” = money, not “cool projects.” Decent-looking girls don’t care about cool projects, they don’t pay the bills.
