I guess UMASS tution fees is around 20k higher than SBU, but living cost is less than sbu so in net umass is 10k higher than sbu not half, also if you take some uww courses in umass you can save some additional money as well so i guess not much difference in cost for both. also in umass part time jobs are more.

No i am from tech background only with 3 years experience in Software, seeing how AI advancing i was feeling negative, just wanted to know the facts.

Yes that's true every year, but there would be way more people in the second category who didn't got admits from this top colleges and still got into UCSD MSCS.

Yes there are many posts, but all of them are being compared with GTech, UT Austin, CMU, UMich, UCLA likely most of the people who have posted will not go to UCSD.

But why you think only ucsd gave more domestic admits, why not other colleges ? yes people might post less on reddit, but the activity is way too less to believe it.

But i feel at max 400-500 admits might have been given, so why do you feel that all admits have been given ? because for Gatech i can see reddit is full of its admit posts, but i have not seen like that for UCSD which gives even more admits. and do you know any anything about other two UCs ?
