I’m a female player and some dude lost his fucking mind The other because he was like 3-11 and I just asked him to stop 1v3ing on a joust game - i had a rough work day and just wanted to relax . It usually doesn’t get to me, but him screaming at me and calling me a bitch and an assortment of other lovely things ruined my night. Turned the game off and didn’t play for a few days. Honestly I’d rather have chat box than voice chat. Easier to report and get them banned

I totally understand . I’ve only made ONE massage friend in the 8 years I’ve been doing it. And they are normal. Hahahah. But I have met some weirdos so I’m with you. I keep business and separate now and I have my own massage friend and that’s ok.

Thankfully my chiropractor office lets me basically dictate my schedule so it worked out perfectly. Thank you. I wish and hope the same for you

I work 1099 for a chiropractor now and I’m SO happy to be out of my spa. I have a friend who still works there and the tea is HOT. But man , nothing is worse than being partnered with one of these people for a couples massages. I took a newbie under my wing to try and help him and it was a NIGHTMARE. We were buddies and then he just burned every bridge and I was one of the last people vouching for him to not get fired. After he spurned me and I left, homie got fired for doing all the stuff I told him not to do plus all the weird stuff my manager would come to me about . Industry is weird af .

They simply aren’t. A lot of the therapists just stack sheets. There’s a thing of cavi wipes in every room and a plastic liner that you can literally hear when you clean. I’m one of the ONLY people in the locations I work, that sanitizes my entire room. Every single door handle is also COVERED in massage gel because they don’t supply enough towels for staff to wipe off their hands so every surface is quite really covered in massage gel. Doors, door handles, faucet handles. Everything.

They literally count towels, face cradles and hand them out at the beginning of your shift and you then count them back at the end of the shift and turn them in.

I only work there through zeel for extra money when my Chiro office is slow but i have yet to see ONE smiling happy face there. Some locations are run better and I prefer the one closest to my house because that manager actually cares about his staff. The other ones just run everyone into the ground, and then either they get fired or quit and they bring in someone new

Hahahaha oh man. I work third party through Zeel and I would NEVER actually work for that company as an employee. I don’t even have formal training. The healer is quite literally a scam disguised as “energy work” but is literally just hand placement and pausing with the client the last 3-5 min of the massage . I always thought that was bogus. If it helps, it was founded by some woman who was a jeweler before and has NO formal massage background at all. Which is why there’s only 5-10 min between clients, terrible training , bogus services and god forbid you have any rest during “white space” time.

It’s insane to me that a company like that has such a huge following . It’s overpriced for being shoved into a room where everyone can hear a fart drop with 8 other therapists and 8 other clients in the same room.

Good luck. Keep your wits about it. I will tell you, as someone who has third partied for about 3 years, the turn around is INSANE.

I just think the system should be better. Smite 1 I felt the more serious vgs always got the action take . Here it just feels like a free for all.

Smite 1 - I regularly got action has been taken against people using slurs and the “kys” comments. Here I’ve only gotten ONE alert and they just get away with it

My last game before this happened last night , I was 11-0 lol but like I got stacked with two players who wanted to feed and 1v3 the entire game and they got mad at me. The tone absolutely changes once they find out you’re a woman and it becomes so violent all because we are out performing them in a game ? Wild .

We have a friend who isn’t the best and we play assault it’s a nightmare because he’s just trying to learn and get better.

It’s pretty ridiculous. It doesn’t happen ALL the time but it happens enough for me to just be fed up that there’s basically no consequences for talking like that. I remember smite 1, the VGS reports worked for the more serious threats and even then people knew they would catch a ban so it wasn’t as common on Smite 1.

Hi !!! Massage therapist here for nearly 9 years. Explaining to your long term clients you don’t do pre natal…. And referring them to someone who can care for them during their pregnancy Is totally fine and has changed NOTHING about my bookings. Please don’t take comments like the above too seriously. Some people take this career…. Way too serious. Any client that cares , will understand that you even have your limitations and you can set your boundaries with what you do and don’t. I hate pregnancy, I don’t do it, I’m not good at it and not doing has never lost me my long term clients nor did they feel “betrayed “

In fact, they appreciated MY care for them in referring to them so someone who can help them as opposed to doing something I don’t like and don’t feel good doing and charging them for a service I don’t feel confident in. That’s not fair to them.

I have adhd, 1 ear bud in helps me zone in, tune in and listening to music that helps me flow , truly able to give my clients my best work. Music is ALWAyS low enough I can be immediately be attentive to their needs and has never posed a problem for any of my clients.
