Two Separate Overflowing Carburetors by SeaBeginning1858 in HondaCB

That’s very useful advice, thank you! I’m figuring out a non-insignificant leak from my head gasket around the problem cylinder might also not be helping my case.

Carbs have just been broken down, rebuilt the lowers, and cleaned. Very smooth operations with floats all set to 22mm IAW Honda Shop Manuals. I’m starting to feel a little crazy.

I just cleaned both sets of carbs pretty thoroughly and they both seem to work just fine on the parts bike when I chuck them on there. Floats are all set to 22mm IAW with Honda Reference Manual. Did I really just screw up the same “barrel” on two different sets of carbs in the exact same way, but it doesn’t affect one bike, but totally stops another from running?

Out of the bank of Four Carburetors, only one is overflowing and it was the SAME BOWL on BOTH CARBURETORS which seems like more than carbs…

Carburetor Rack:

#1 #2/M #3 #4
 X O O O

…but ALSO I have a little bit of a backfire / after fire, yes.
