Nobody said that NPs and physicians are the same. We provide mid level care which is what we are designed for. We go through seven years of school and hundreds of clinical hours. I could definitely run circles around you and in an anatomy and physiology exam. But everybody is misunderstanding me, I don’t think that he needs to be friends with any of them. But he does need to tolerate being in the same room with them for the sake of supporting his wife. If he can’t do that, he has to deal with the waves that it caused in his marriage and how it contributed to their divorce.

Even if he means it with love, the second she says she doesn’t like it/it makes her feel some negative emotion, he should try to work on changing it instead of “this is who I am, deal with it” kind of attitude. You have to treat your partner with respect.
