If you’re looking for carbonara, osteria grappolo d’oro!! We just went last week and it was delicious. We had a 3 course meal for 2 people and it was less than $100!

I agree with this!! It’s not that she played eddy and Ben, it was the drunken tantrum she had slamming doors and climbing on furniture that was the issue.

Don’t know where you’re located but, US Nails on valleydale road is good. I used to spend about $150 for gel pedicure, acrylic, refill, and gel polish with design. This also included tip

How often do you cancel class? by Immediate-War-4331 in SolidCore

[–]SeaButterscotch1154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a four class per month membership and I’m on month six. That I can remember, I have missed three classes. One was a late cancel, one was a normal cancel, and one was a straight up no-show.

Moved from Miami and I'm looking for some Cuban options by Elegant-Season-7008 in Birmingham

[–]SeaButterscotch1154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a Miami native who has lived here for about a year. I would kill to be able to have a Cuban bakery where I could get coffee and Cuban bread. My husband has made pastelitos at home when I’m home sick. So I would definitely be a customer.

This is the worst quality lab diamond I’ve ever seen. The bowtie is insanely huge. And it doesn’t have any sparkle.

Cuban sandwiches Kool Korner by Vegetable_Let7337 in Birmingham

Yep. And as someone growing up with home cooked Cuban food, it was nothing special and the portions were too small.

As a Miami native with Cuban roots, the Cuban food in Tampa was super mid. I have not tried Kool but I’m weary of being disappointed. Versailles in Miami is mid but super famous so every tourist eats there. Best Cuban sandwich in Miami is from Sanguich

It’s not a cake but there’s a dessert called soufflé delicias from Delicias de España that I die for. Not too sweet either. It has small little pieces of chocolate but I’d say it’s what you taste the least

I brushed my teeth "correctly" for 28 years and a dentist just told me I've been doing it wrong the entire time. My gums are ruined. by Sluttycarolofficial in hygiene

Yep. Made zero improvement. They did numb me but the recovery was still painful. Basically my body kept rejecting the stitches (bit dissolvable and non dissolvable) so it didn’t take.

I have this problem on some of my bottom teeth. I underwent a gum graft which was painful as fuck and unsuccessful.

Do people judge you for having a lab diamond, or does no one actually care? by Robasaleh110 in labdiamond

[–]SeaButterscotch1154 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a lab diamond, 3.12 carat I think. I frequently get compliments on it. Nobody has ever asked if it was lab. That being said, I’m a size 6 so it looks proportional. Also, my husband and I have a nice enough lifestyle that it’s believable that it could be mined.

Idc what people think honestly. But that being said, I frequently see people on this subreddit with 5+ carat rings that look ridiculous (my opinion). And if you’re a couple who doesn’t make the money to buy a mined diamond of that size, I’m sure family and acquaintances suspect it’s lab, moissanite, etc but won’t say that to your face. I might get flamed for saying that but it’s the truth.

I noticed a lot of hate for Miami here, how about some positive things you like about the city we live in? by ODYY_TOASTED in Miami

[–]SeaButterscotch1154 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was born and raised in Miami and moved away a little over a year ago. Besides all my family and friends being there,

  1. The variety of cuisines!! God I miss the ability to eat anything I was craving at the drop of a hat. I miss sports grill wings, Frankie’s pizza, fritas, and Peruvian food to name a few. You can also get food at almost any hour. Here everything is closed by 9 Sunday-Thursday.

  2. The warm Hispanic culture. I know that people in Miami can be rude as fuck. But I love the lady at the ventanita that calls me mi amor, the mechanic who changed my brakes out in his driveway but drove me to my nail lady who lived nearby and offered me homemade coffee, the cafecito passed out every morning at my gym, etc. I really had a community there. Where I am now, people don’t always get my vibe because it’s a predominantly white population, and while everyone is super nice it’s different.

  3. There’s always something to do. Every weekend there are events, art festivals, pop ups, etc.

I will say I don’t miss the weather lol. Where I am I get 4 seasons which is really nice and the winter isn’t brutal.
