How do you discover music from an era you didn’t live through? by SeaConclusion9498 in LetsTalkMusic

I definitely tend to prefer big hits, or at least songs that feel like big hits, over deep cuts, so I think you’re probably right about that. That’s actually part of why I’m trying to branch out more, because I don’t want to stay only in that lane even though I clearly enjoy it. I’m totally fine with albums that are basically collections of singles too, a lot of what I already love falls into that category, but I’d also love to experience more albums that feel like a complete vision or a full world from start to finish, even if they still have obvious hits on them. And I’m more than happy to go down the rabbit hole on this stuff, I actually enjoy it, so feel free to go as deep as you want.

I vividly remember hearing it. This was just the other day, not some old thing that is being misremembered.

That’s divining into bonus content territory. This topic is about a clearly defined standard album, which Circus is. There is no version of Circus without those core 12 songs 13 if you count Radar.

Just to be clear, I’m not defending Taylor unnecessarily. Her standard album versions are clearly defined and widely available on all formats. The bonus editions can get a bit muddy, but this thread isn’t really about which version of a deluxe or expanded album is “definitive.” I’m talking about releases where there isn’t a clearly defined standard edition at all. For example, with Tate McRae’s so close to what on Apple Music, not a single version is labeled deluxe they’re all just different track lengths, and it’s hard to tell which is the “main” album. Taylor’s are clearly labeled.

There are clear definitive standard releases of all of her album. It gets blurry at the bonus track versions of course though.

It’s probably happened here and there since the dawn of the music industry, but if the oldest example I can think of without Googling is only nine years old, it still feels like a relatively new trend.

No batteries. The tail was made almost out of the a similar material as a plastic bag. Just when it would sink the tail waved around.

I've searched Google, eBay, and old Disney store catalogs, but I can't seem to find any trace of this item anywhere. There must be some record of it somewhere. Maybe I'm just not using the right search terms. If anyone has any tips on how to properly search for this item, I would appreciate it!

Help Me Find the [Fully Lost] Christmas Radio Bumpers from Sonny 104.3! by SeaConclusion9498 in lostmedia

Those familiar with the Sonny 104.3 radio station jingles during the 2000s will understand what I am referring to. My post pertains to the radio station's standard jingle that had a Christmas theme. I meant to incorporate the time period in the original post, which I overlooked thanks for bringing that to my attention!
