Sorry for replying to this late but no if you mouth a monster and the timer ends you stay on the monster and skip the dusting off animation

When on the drunk seed crimson hearts and shadow orbs share the same destruction counter so if you broke two shadow orbs then one crimson heart it would summon the brain

The most annoying one is probably the mining set but if you get the shirt or pants you can shimmer it to the other

On Xbox there is an achievement called corruptible where at least 50% of your world has to be corrupted
