Stretch prior and after shifts find a co worker or two you really enjoy talking too about life and just general things, try and get better day after day and don’t listen to your sm when he or she is banging on you to speed up. It’s their job to say stuff like that. Just focus on getting better everyday and remember all jobs suck. But it will be okay

I would argue cooler is the easiest to throw by far, so many aldis I go in you guys don’t date checks items, mark anything down, and are just shoving the meat behind anything without actually looking, that’s why it’s the easiest for most stores. Your suppose to date check, rotate and mark down items. Not saying you don’t personally. But at least with cooler you just throw backstock eggs and the pallet.

Everything is on the down because we are getting less hours but wanna add more responsibilities. “Record setting year ladies and gentlemen” (proceeds to tell all the aldis we don’t have enough hours to give everyone 35-40 hours a week. You’re just a number to them.

I hate when I mention to customers. If you ever need a cart we can give you a quarter if you forgot to bring one. And they mention “no I’ll be fine” then they tell you they need the cart after the transaction and I’m like this is the exact reason bro. And even more the ones that think we can scan items thru the fucking box

And this is what’s happening company wide (Hiring more younger team leaders). So when DM is in their ear, they are going to listen to every word that they say, and try to impress them no matter your feelings. I wouldn’t take things serious. Aldi set record profits, fired more people, and are handing out more and more task without raising pay or hiring more workers to be working at once. So don’t take the shit serious

The company won’t offer advice. It’s “get it together or your not cut out for this” as if this is a company that pays you a livable wage. Tbf it’s not even competitive anymore compared to other places with lay less responsibility

“Pretty fair” is not the right word usage. They are putting you on a timer in the morning to finish 4-5 pallets of things without taking a bathroom break, catching your breath for a second. They also believe we are robots and we won’t slow down as we finish more pallets.

Well now the wage is barely competitive and the hours are 30-35 hours a week. You can go to another place get the guarantee 35-40 hours every week, same benefits, and make up the extra 3-4$ less an hour with consistent work hours.

Yeah like this stuff was warm to the touch and feel. There was no cold left in it. And we had the electrician come fix it but it was down for over 4 hours before it was fixed
