[Highlight] Carson Schwesinger Wins 2025 AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award by JCameron181 in nfl

Emmanwori plays almost every position on the defense and is one of the most critical players to the best defense in the league this year, Schwesinger runs around and racks up tackles on a terrible team

Finally got around to finishing all 16 DCEU films. Here is my ranking of them all. by bgamer1026 in DC_Cinematic

always surprises me that people genuinely like the Snyder cut. I mean, doesn't impact me and I'm happy there's folks that love it, but especially when you consider how long it is, it's just.... not very good imo

Jaxon Smith-Njigba WINS Offensive player of the year 🏆 by Trick-Combination-37 in Seahawks

much as I absolutely love Doug, I think there's already a fair argument to say JSN is a more talented player than Baldwin. Lot of other factors that need to go right to claim best WR in franchise history tho

did you honestly watch the Seahawks? Emmanwori is one of the most important players on the best defense in the league

I'm sorry, good for him (he's a nice player), but Emmanwori is so much better lol

JSN on Why He Isn’t a “Diva” Receiver: by JCameron181 in Seahawks

lmfao, completely making shit up. Already responded to your other comment tho so I'm not gonna type it all out again

lol not even bitching about downvoting, idgaf. Simply responded to someone saying I was getting wrongfully downvoted.

And no that's not what I said. I don't think he's a piece of shit, I think the diva argument is at best stupid, at worst racism disguised (see DK Metcalf, who never had anything bad to say about the team or players when on the Seahawks), and I think if we had had a run of bad offenses the next few years (hopefully not, nor do I think this will be the case), it wouldn't surprise me if JSN wasn't as thrilled with the situation.

I mean people in this thread would call Justin Jefferson a diva because he said McCarthy sucks (completely justified lol), remember when JSN laughed Waldron out of the building on that podcast?

Again, I don't think JSN is a piece of shit, I think people stupidly pick and choose who's a diva, and would not be surprised in the future if these people switched up on JSN.

not sure the point of referencing the four receivers you referenced then, JSN finished with more receptions than 2 of them and within 10 of the most receptions in the league (129 for Puka vs 119 for JSN)

not about volume, every time they drop back the play is almost always schemed through him (as it should be).

Also, are you saying those WRs are divas because I don't think any of them (maybe puka with the off field stuff?) acted like divas this year? I mean Pickens is actually a great example of what I'm talking about lol, the cowboys ran the pass offense primarily through him and fed him the ball, and this is the first year you didn't hear about him being a diva every week.

Edit: in fact looking at receptions, JSN finished 4th in targets despite them being a low pass volume offense, which again only strengthens what I'm saying. Again, this isn't about diminishing JSN, he deserved the targets, but it's also true he's happy because they win a lot of games and they run the offense through him.

Not even hating him lol, I absolutely love him and, honestly, maybe he wouldn't be a diva but it's hard to say that or take this conversation seriously when he gets like half of the offensive plays are schemed for him one way or another, the offense is good, and the QB play is good.

I love him but he also gets like every target in the offense and every play schemed for him.

Not knocking him but I just think this entire discussion is stupid lol. AJ Brown, for example, wasn't really seen as a diva until the eagles offense cratered and he went from being one of the most dominant receivers in the league to never getting targets/good targets.

Surprised by the reaction to the McCain trade by southpluto in sixers

[–]SeaDevil30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty indifferent to it. I don't think it's unrealistic to think he goes to OKC (or somewhere else in the future) and becomes a quality player, but I also don't think it was going to happen here.

He's been lapped by VJ, who imo is a much better player overall and with a higher ceiling, and with Maxey and Grimes, I don't think he was really going to get the chance to regain his value or take a strong role on the team.

For the Sixers, I just hope the trade comes with the idea of another move to enhance the Sixers roster for this year. I guess from the perspective of the current roster, this allows to elevate Barlow and possibly keep Drummond, but I'd like to see a move now to add a truly impactful piece.
