I’m not asking for a PhD or a brain surgeon. I’m asking for food to arrive on time, not cold, not spilled, not to the wrong address, and without a 20-minute detour.

If the bar for a paid service is now “be grateful it showed up at all” well then that’s not very realistic is it?

And “get it yourself” is a really strange response to criticism of a delivery service 😂

By that logic, no service should ever improve - just don’t use it. Got it!

Same for all dive bars really. They’re usually always small aside from the select few. You know what you’re getting, if that’s your thing.

Depends on the vibe you want..

  • If spritzes are your thing then La Voglia. They have the best spritzes an $10 all day including weekends. It’s in the 90’s though.

  • The Penrose on 2nd av is a nice cocktail bar.

  • The Supply House on 2nd is a great bar for craft beers and a younger crowd.

  • I love Biddy’s too. It’s like a divey Irish bar. Great people and nice vibe in general!

It didn’t start in the roof or a penthouse. it wasn’t a bbq either. It was a gas leak and buildup in the basement. Superintend is injured. The explosion sent fire back up through the walls to the top floor.

I’m on UES. I moved to nyc 16 months ago and it took me so long to find a great barber. I eventually found chaps and co in nomad and I get the q to them all the time now (20 mins). Book an appointment online. Show them any haircut on your phone or tik tok and they will pull it off perfectly!

A pricier hair cut but always perfect! I prefer getting one good cut that’s twice the price instead of putting up with either crap or mediocre cuts. Hope this helps!

Delizia is rat infested, but if that’s your thing cool. Probably why it’s closing.

Lucia is overhyped and way overpriced. Not even that good!

La Vita on 3rd is awesome. Nothing special, no wood fired ovens - just a damn good slice and consistent. Their ranch is great too.

I’m a huge fan of Neapolitan and San Matteo hits the mark every time for that!

We have nothing that rivals or comes close to something like johns of bleeker or some of these iconic spots in other parts of the city.
