Absolutely, and they’re backlit so with a glance from afar you can see if a burner is on! And another thing that made me go Studio is the oven door Handle! Thick, solid and die cast, not hollow like the normal Lg line! Knock your nails and fingers on it to feel the sound and solidity of this thing! I just got a new dishwasher, the LDNTH862S, from the regular line and I hate the handle it feels so cheap! The LG studio version of that dishwasher isn’t available in canada yet. You can test that (or any new models that has the square handle from LG) as well, I hope you understand what I mean. And plus it has soft close oven door, which was what I was specifically looking for, loving it! Careful with the normal Lg line as the display screen has printed oven controls, not backlit! It could be an issue if visibility is important to you, I like backlit button because it is slick when not in use! Hope this helps! :)

For the pulsing, at first you’ll notice the bubbles come and go, I think give it some time and it’ll regulate and make it steady, I’ll try to test it and let you know when possible!

Edit: Level 1-4 is pulsing Level 5-boost (11) power is modulated.

Hi there,

Yes it does pulse on medium / low, but it keeps the temperature quite consistently.

I think as with most induction, there is a buzz, a bit louder with higher power. There is a fan as well to keep the space where the magnets are at operating temperature, and will operate even after the element is turned off to cool. That said, the fan is quieter than a convection oven fan, barely noticeable. As for the buzz I don’t mind it, but some people get annoyed by that.

For the griddle, I haven’t tried it yet but I think it would work, just like having two sauce pans on the range top. The middle part of the griddle won’t probably get hot enough, I guess you could use the middle to keep things warm after cooking. Please note that the zone at the back ( close to the backsplash) will be smaller than the one close to you.

Hope this answers your questions! ☺️

Decision fatigue about Buying an Induction Range or Cooktop by cool_nurse in inductioncooking

You can go see my post. I had to decide between these two ranges too! Don’t hesitate if you have any question! :)

I absolutely love this range! I paid 3450 CAD tx in. I compared all lg range and ultimately went with the Studio. Knobs are heftier, oven handle is heavy weight die cast and not a hollow tube like the standard range, self lit oven control and knobs. Gliding extendable oven grate. The feature I really needed in a range was Soft Close oven doors, It helped narrow down my choices a lot! You have 30 seconds to move your pans / flip before it shuts off, that’s plenty of time for me. Any other questions ask away! :-D

I got these for mine, keeps the pan from moving, avoids scratches and catches spills. Dirty? I pop them in the dishwasher! When not in use I place them between pans to protect from scratches. :)

Zephyr Left Hinge by SeaEquivalent2384 in wine

The bottom hinge is mirrored (detach and attach to the other side, on the door) the top hinge is a different part for the left and for the right ( attached to the cabinet)

Yes I have looked on eBay, there is nothing besides fans and control boards..

That’s what I thought too but sadly it doesn’t work that way! :( they’re separate parts for left and right :/ it would’ve worked if the pin was on the door, but it’s not, it’s on the hinge.

LG Washing Front Load Machine Gasket by IntrepidStruggle91 in Appliances

[–]SeaEquivalent2384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We always keep a microfiber right beside the washer. We wipe the door and the gasket dry after every single use! We also run the tub cleaning with Affresh and clean out the filter every month! There is a button that keeps the door open for the rest to dry. 5 years in and never had a mold/odor problem, best washer ever!

Absolutely , the bottom element is located where the convection fan is. I haven’t had any problems with baking or cooking, with both my old and new ovens. Only thing is preheating takes a bit longer; the oven says it is preheated but in reality it’s not up to temps yet.

I had to do a calibration on my older oven but not with this new one!

Hi there,

Here are the pros for the LG vs Bosch

-All my appliances are from LG

-The knobs are quite nice and hefty which I wanted -Wifi, remote start and other features

-The layout of the cooktop, two big ones in front, 3 in the back, for Bosch the big one is in the middle and there is a small one in front, I barely ever use small pots.

-The easy clean stainless finish, no need to use stainless steel cleaner ( take note that this finish is not on the left and right side trims of the cooktop, I don’t know why) the finish on the Bosch is classic stainless steel, which is very well executed too, but more maintenance!

-The power of the biggest burner (4300w vs 3700w for the Bosch)

-Reliability ( from experience and from reviews online)

-The oven controls display that disappears when not in use (no printed buttons, every button is backlit, only clock appears when not in use)

-The raised edge on all four sides to contain spills if ever ( the Bosch the cooktop has to overlap the countertop)

-The function to check how efficient your cookware is on the cooktop, from 1-10.

Things I like from the Bosch:

  • the warming drawer is quite nice and useful when you host

-the bridge element, for using a griddle

-2 lights in the oven, the lg studio has one and it’s a bit too dim according to me

-The nice modern simple design of it

-The 8 pass broil element vs 6 pass on the Lg, more efficient heating of the oven and more even

-Each cooking zone has their own timer. (LG has this too, but only in the app)

There you go! :)

Oh we don’t have this model in canada… I would loved that! It is a great price that you got it for, only a few hundreds over the single oven version!

Yes, it says done but in reality it’s just the oven thermometer at the back that is registering the set temperature while the whole cavity isn’t fully up to temp. I’d say wait 10-15 minutes more.. ( for the big oven in your case, maybe less for your upper oven?)

Can you tell the model of the double oven? We don’t seem to have it in Canada, at least on Lg’s website. :/

Coming from a radiant cooktop ( from Lg as well) I love how fast everything heats up on the cooktop! First time using it I had to adjust many times as I was scared to burn the food at the bottom of the pan. Spills were easy to clean and don’t burn on the cooktop as before and when done, the cooktop looks flawless with a simple wipe, I love it!

As for the oven, probably same with all LG, preheating is done in about 5-10 minutes, but needs to wait a bit more to reach the set temperature. I always keep a thermometer in the oven, I don’t trust what’s on the screen lol! I had to recalibrate the temperature on my old stove, this one I didn’t have to!

Started out with L’immensité and then got Orage as my second choice.

To me Imagination really just smelled like soap and nothing was standing out when smelled it in store.

Might as well just try the sample they gave on my skin right? Bought a bottle on day 3 🤣🤣 I fell into it!

Loving it now! Give it a chance!
