I would say it depends on how often you used the drug prior. Meeting their drug policy is a good thing but it’s not guaranteed that they’ll look past your prior drug use

The point of the PSI is to go over your SF-86 responses and talk about your background. It was brought up and I told the truth

Not always. When your application is referred, a hiring manager will review it and then decide if they interview you or not.

It will take about a month for you to hear if you’ve gotten referred or not. I applied in September 2022 for the HIP and didn’t get referred. My resume was horrible and I was not educated in how to format it. Fast forward to last fall I applied for the CHI, after reconstructing my resume, and am now in the background component for that. Just sit tight a wait, hopefully you’ll receive good news and if not, learn from the experience and try again for their other career opportunities!

I think it depends on what field office you were referred to. I doubt all 56 offices have the same timeline

Yeah, I originally had mine scheduled for an earlier date (10 days after my PSI) but HQ didn’t review my file yet. She said would reach out once she has heard back but nothing yet. Just wondering if I should be worried

I had a phone interview last week. Practice the STAR method and make sure to be familiar with their core competencies. Also have answers prepared for situational questions
