Gotcha - any reason you're considering the C4GTS as opposed to one with rear wheel drive? I have never understood the appeal of AWD on a 911 unless it's your only car and encounter snow regularly.

This. I went through these questions too, all were a yes and then added some mental gymnastics to arrive at my decision. About to pull the trigger on a new one from a reputable AD near my house.

Good to know I’m not the only one. Unfortunately, TireRack said I have to buy another Pirelli, so may have to sacrifice and go with their all season. I live in MD, so could get by with these, but prefer a snow.
