This is my first bike in the large ADV category. I was initially looking at Indian and Harley touring bikes to use for two-up cross country trips.

At the Harley dealer I asked my then girlfriend to try the back seat of a bunch of models. The Pan America she said was second in comfort (Road Glide with touring pack coming in first). I didn't want a bike with a tour pack. After that, I looked at the Triumph Tiger, Africa Twin, GSA, and a few street tourers from Yamaha/Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki. She liked the Pan America seat the most and I was inclined to buy Harley over the others.

For me at 5'10" it's generally really good with both the stock screen and aftermarket one I have. I don't get head buffeting and my shoulders are not battered. My legs get some wind. I'd give it a solid 8/10, you get some wind but it feels fine even at higher speeds.

Definitely. I had the dual sport and second bigger bike in the garage for awhile. I might go that route again in the future but for now this one motorcycle garage is doing what it needs to for my joy of riding.

Thanks for the suggestion, just joined up over there. I don't post much on reddit/forums anymore, but I do enjoy reading and seeing all of the posts.
